Photographing family will always be special to us, and getting to photograph Nick's sister and her fiancé for their engagement photos was no different! We loved getting to spend time with Dennis and Melissa and share lots of laughs! They had so many fun locations they wanted to take their pictures at, and with the cloudy skies that didn't part until the very end, the light ended up being just what we needed for each spot!! We zipped all over downtown Grand Rapids to get as many photos as possible, and Nick had to keep me on track because I loved each spot so much :) Though I love nature photos, I also love it when I get chances to shoot in a downtown (especially something bigger than Dubuque haha). It's always fun to include unique architecture and buildings in photos and experience a new challenge!
Dennis and Melissa, we can't wait to photograph your wedding this fall! We're excited to have you as part of the family, Dennis, and we're so happy Melissa found someone to protect and care about her so well! Praying for you guys as you continue to prepare for not just a wedding, but your marriage!
