On a warm, sunny, and breezy summer day in the rolling hills of Iowa, along a picturesque, winding gravel path, Isaac was moved to tears upon seeing his bride's beauty for the first time. Surrounded by nature's splendor, his focus remained solely on her. I can't help but wonder if, even amidst California's distinct beauty where they met, his gaze was more often on her than the scenery. When you find someone who means the world to you, life becomes more beautiful because of their presence.

Aubrey and Isaac's wedding day beautifully symbolized the merging of different worlds into a shared life journey. The setting itself seemed to reflect how Aubrey's love for Iowa blossomed alongside her love for Isaac. Since Isaac loves Aubrey and Aubrey loves Isaac, their families have now embraced each other as one. Wedding speeches by the parents of the bride and groom often express sentimentality about their children, but it's rare to see such deep appreciation for the families united through marriage. It was heartwarming to witness so much love and gratitude between two families who, just a few years ago, were strangers from different worlds.

As Isaac's aunt, it was really special to be a part of their wedding day in this way and I'm so grateful for the honor of capturing it. Isaac and Aubrey, I'm so happy you two found each other, and Aubrey, I'm so glad you're a part of the family now! We're so glad to have you both in Iowa.
